Online chess clock
Use two clocks with custom minutes, Fischer increment, pause and keyboard switching.
Set the time control
Choose one to 180 minutes per player and zero to 120 seconds of Fischer increment. Set the clock, then start White. After a move on your board, tap your running clock to start the other clock. The moving player receives increment once per switch; pause and resume add none.
In 5+3, using ten seconds leaves 4:50, then pressing the clock adds three seconds for 4:53. Space switches turns when focus is on the page itself. Focused buttons keep their usual Space/Enter action.
Timing limits
Elapsed timestamps determine remaining time. Time continues in hidden tabs; device sleep can delay visible updates. Keep the screen awake for casual play. Normal page exit saves remaining time; reopening restores a paused snapshot. A crash can lose changes since the last save. This has no sound, delay, extra time periods or tournament certification. A flag is a timing event; determine the game result using the board position and rules.
