Cribbage hand calculator
Count a four-card hand and starter, with a breakdown of fifteens, pairs, runs, flush and nobs.
Count your hand or crib
Choose the four cards in the hand and the starter separately. Every physical card must be different. Switch to Crib to apply the stricter flush rule. Aces are low; picture cards count ten toward fifteen.
What the calculator counts
Each combination totaling fifteen earns two points. Each equal-rank pair earns two; duplicated ranks can produce multiple runs. Only the longest runs count, with one point per card in each run. Four same-suit hand cards earn four, or five with a matching starter. A crib flush requires all five cards. A jack in the hand matching the starter’s suit earns one for nobs.
The example hand 5♠, 5♥, 5♦, J♣ with starter 5♣ scores 29: sixteen for fifteens, twelve for pairs and one for nobs. Pegging and two points for a jack starter (heels) are separate and excluded.
