MTG life counter

Track two to six players’ life, poison and separately named commander damage, with undo and local backups.

Track life and counters

Start with two to six names and ordinary 20 life or Commander 40 life. Use ±1 or ±5 for life; poison has its own counter. Undo reverses up to a hundred changes, including a reset. Undo history lasts while this page is open; the current game saves in this browser.

Commander identity matters

Add each commander as a distinct source. Partners are separate sources, and control changes do not reset a commander’s damage. Expand a player’s damage section to enter combat damage received. Adjust life separately: prevention, infect and other effects can change how damage affects life.

Usual free-for-all loss thresholds are zero life, ten poison, or 21 combat damage from one commander. The tool flags thresholds and leaves players active because effects may change the outcome. Two-Headed Giant is excluded. Card lookup, remote synchronization and specialized counters are outside this local tool’s scope.
