Carcassonne feature-score calculator
Calculate one base-game Carcassonne feature: roads, cities with shields, monasteries or fields. Check completed versus final scoring and full awards for tied majorities.
About the game and this companion
Carcassonne players build a landscape and place meeples to control roads, cities, monasteries and fields. This tool scores one feature you identify on your board.
How scoring works
A completed city scores 2 per tile and shield; an unfinished city scores 1 per tile and shield. Roads score 1 per tile. A monastery scores its own tile plus its surrounding tiles. A field scores 3 per distinct completed city touching it, at game end. Every tied majority owner receives the full feature value.
Worked example
A completed three-tile city with one shield is worth 8 points. Meeple counts 2, 2 and 1 award 8, 8 and 0. The same city unfinished at game end is worth 4.
Scope and limits
Base-game features only, including farmer scoring. You identify connectivity, completion and distinct tiles/cities; the calculator does not inspect the board. Completed features already scored during play must not be added again at game end. No inns, cathedrals, barns, abbots or other expansion rules.
Inputs are calculated in this tab and are not saved by this tool. Editing inputs clears the previous result and disables exports until you calculate again. No account or remote table is required.
Rule reference: Z-MAN Carcassonne rulebooks and farmer supplement.
