Ticket to Ride USA score calculator

Calculate USA route points, completed and failed tickets, and the longest-path bonus. Check the 45-train budget and export a transparent final-score breakdown.

About the game and this companion

Ticket to Ride players claim train routes and try to finish the destination tickets they keep. This tool totals one player’s USA score after you judge routes and tickets on the board.

How scoring works

Route lengths 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 score 1, 2, 4, 7, 10 and 15 points. Add completed ticket values, subtract failed ticket values and add 10 if awarded longest path. All tied longest-path holders get the bonus. Route lengths must consume no more than 45 trains.

Worked example

Two six-train routes score 30. Completed tickets worth 20 and 11 add 31; an unfinished 8-point ticket subtracts 8. With the longest-path card the final total is 63.

Scope and limits

USA base scoring, referenced to the 2025 rulebook. No automatic map/path search, destination verification, winner tiebreak or expansion bonuses. Do not add route points from the score track again. Europe stations, Globetrotter and other editions are excluded.

Inputs are calculated in this tab and are not saved by this tool. Editing inputs clears the previous result and disables exports until you calculate again. No account or remote table is required.
